An interesting Ipomoea species, grown from underground tubers that send up twining stems to a height of 8 - 12 feet in one season. The large gray green, almost succulent, palmate leaves are quite interesting on their own, the addition of medium sized bright pink blooms adds to the attraction. Grow in full sun and let dry out slightly between waterings. Dig the tuber in the fall and over winter as you would a canna.
