This flowering shrub matures to a height of about 30 feet tall with a width that is slightly less, yeilding an overall, rounded form. Fragrant flowers open anywhere from March to April and are reportedly some of the prettiest of all the deciduous magnolias. Flowers are white with pink centers and usually have 30 petals. Soil should be moderately fertile and well drained. Plant in full to part sun.
