A true red, semi-double rose that blooms non-stop through the summer to the first frost. Presenting Miracle on the Hudson™ Rose. It is named in honor of the crew and passengers of flight 1549. Miracle on the Hudson™ has all of the great parts of a rose, such as continuous blooms and a lovely cinnamon sweet fragrance. It also is one of the lowest maintenance shrub roses available. There is no need to plant a low growing perennial or shrub in front of this rose. The foliage is lush and full on the stem all of the way to the ground. The fragrant blooms attract beneficial pollinators all summer, then turn into brilliant orange hips for the fall and winter. Birds and other wildlife look forward to these tasty morsels to get through the winter. Shrub roses can be grown as a low growing hedge or as an individual element in the garden. Miracle on the Hudson™ would grow well in a container on a patio or deck. It's more compact size makes it perfect for the smaller garden.
