Cut these old-fashioned blooms for your bouquets, and flowers will "come again" producing continuously until fall frost. Long-lasting 2"–2 ½" blossoms on heat-loving plants supply endless color for your flowerbeds, containers and borders. Each individual flower lasts a very long time on the plant, and in the vase before fading. Zinnias are edible, but have little flavor. The colorful flowers can make a pretty garnish to salads, desserts, cold drinks, or serving trays. (The flower's central disk, while edible, can be bitter.)
