Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum x 'Top Hat') This compact, cold hardy dwarf shrub provides a show of plentiful white flowers followed by delicious, pea-sized light blue fruit. Foliage becomes bright red and orange before dropping in fall. Excellent for containers, creating a defined border or bonsai. It displays a profusion of dainty white tinged pink bell-shaped flowers in spring. This is followed by clusters of fruit. This display makes the Top Hat a wonderful ornamental plant for the landscape. Its dwarf compact size also makes it a great candidate for a patio container plant. The Top Hat requires very acidic soil, so be sure to pot the plants with an acid potting mix.
